"We have six children and we have been home schooling for more than ten years. My husband is a retired Air Force pilot, so we have lived all over the world. Two of our children attend the Art-A-Rama program created and designed for home school students. We have experienced nothing like this anywhere we have lived. The program brings together more than just drawing on paper, the curriculum has been tailored to teach the children not only the different types of art (and allows them to be creative in each of these areas) but also in-depth study of the history of art. We were most surprised by the level of knowledge our youngest, age five, has of art terminology and also her skill and creativity as an artist. Last week she brought home an awesome depiction of the Mona Lisa and proudly told us the original was painted by “Dahhhhhhhhhhhh Vinchiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii”! The Art-A-Rama staff is a combination of knowledgeable, fun, creative and reliable. It is a secure and good feeling dropping the children off every week to explore their creative side and learn about history through art. And, we have a lot of priceless treasures throughout our home."

She's been to so many different camps and this was the only one that she couldn't wait to go to and hated to leave. "I wanted to have a special birthday for my daughter when she turned 5. I wanted to have something my daughter and her friends would always remember about her 5th birthday.
We chose to do the tie dye t-shirts at Art-A-Rama Plano and it was an absolute success. Many of the adults participated as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the children. A year later and the shirts are holding up great, and we still get feedback from the parents and the kids about the party. We see them wearing their shirts from time to time. I recommend Art-A-Rama Plano to anyone looking to have a meaningful party. I think it would even be a great idea as an office party/activity."
