General Art classes are designed to allow the artist to experience a wide variety of media and techniques appropriate to the age and level of the individual artist. Artists learn fundamental to advanced techniques while improving fine motors skills and dexterity.
Although drawing is fundamental to all of our classes the Drawing Class concentrates more on details, generally working with pencil, charcoal and pastels and the like.
On Saturday mornings, we have drawing classes to assist the kids with learning how to draw cartoon characters.
As of September 2005 we have been offering our classes developed secifically with the Home Schooler in mind. These classes are designed to introduce your young artist to the history of art while producing their own masterpieces.
Pottery classes include instruction on both hand building and wheel throwing techniques. All firings and glazes are included in the price.
Classes meet once a week for one hour and 15 minutes. Adult pottery classes are two hours per session. All supplies are included in the cost of tuition. Please review our Make-Up Policy.
